~ Salem based APT Builders awards MARG the EPC Contract for APT Residency ~
Chennai, April 19, 2010: MARG Foundation India, the EPC arm of MARG Ltd., India's leading diversified infrastructure development company has been awarded the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for APT RESIDENCY, a luxurious apartment project, promoted by APT DEVELOPERS, in Salem.
APT Residency, which is a first-of-its-kind project in Salem, will comprise of 32 luxurious apartments in Vasantham Nagar, an upcoming prime residential locality. The site is 1 km from Salem Junction and 2 kms from the new bus stand. The project is located in close proximity to NH7.
MARG Foundation India is focussed on offering engineering, procurement, construction and technical services on a turn-key basis across multiple verticals such as Ports, Roads, Power, Buildings and other major sectors. In the Ports sector, MARG's EPC activity include the construction of port including breakwater, wharf, berth, yards, warehouse, rail sidings, dredging and related marine services. While the EPC arm of MARG has completed over 60 kms of roads including 2 lanes, 4 lanes and ghat roads, with construction in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka; it has executed over 100 MW contracts for RCI Power, Enercon, Nuziveedu seeds and Asian Wind Turbine under the Power sector. MARG Foundation India has built more than 1 mn sq. ft. of commercial blocks in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh, in addition to offering its services for the residential space, integrated townships and SEZs. The company's EPC arm has also built 104 nos. of Transformer yards of 33 KV (315 KVA & 600 KVA), and Transmission Lines for 132 KV and 33 KV/132 KV sub-station work.
APT RESIDENCY USP include a gymnasium, swimming pool and car parking slots that are specifically allotted to each apartment. The various amenities offered at the project include solar water heater, 24 x 7 power back up, intercom facility, club house & convention hall, 24x7 security with CCTV camera, and a coffee corner.
